Student and Career Counselling
At the University of Skövde we have Study and Career Counsellors to help you with questions about your studies. We will help you before, during and after your studies. You can find them in Building E, 2nd floor.

Drop-in at the Student Affairs Office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12.30-14.30

Student and Career Counselling is:
- Helping students to see opportunities regardless of conditions
- Helping students to get through the entire process - from presumptive student to alumnus
- Raising students' awareness of the processes going on in / outside them
You can get help to find information about the education options available. It can be about which courses and programmes are available and what they entail, possible pathways during and after the studies, the rules concerning university studies, and how to apply for higher education.
During the meeting, you get the opportunity to become aware of your strengths, your developable sides, values, attributes and skills, motivation and needs.
We assist you in the decision making process, giving you tools figure out what you want to do in the future. You can also get help with planning and organizing your studies.

We have drop-in at the Student Affairs Office in Building E, 2nd floor, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. 12:30 to 14:30.
During our drop-in, you can get answers to short questions. These meeting are short, 10 minutes max.
When you book a meeting, we allocate 45-60 minutes to discuss the issues you have concerning your studies.
The booked meetings can be either on-site at the University, by phone or Skype.
Our phone hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 10:15 to 12:00.
