Warm Welcome to New International Students

A cold, but happy, group of international students arrived this week. Our new international students come from Germany, Spain, Holland, Ireland, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Finland and Lithuania.

On Wednesday the international students had their first introduction day. About 20 students showed up on the first day and more will arrive shortly. In all, there will be around 60 international students this spring, including students that started in the autumn. The exchange students take courses at different institutions at the University and the master students will study Infection Biology and Bioinformatics.

The introduction for our international students, both autumn and spring, is the most fun part of the year. It is fantastic to welcome students from all over the world, students that have chosen to come to the University of Skövde, says Frida Lindgren, one of the persons responsible for the introduction.
