Registration - master students

Registration is generally done in three steps:


  1. You need to obtain your user account at User Account and Password webpage.

  2. You need to register online for your programme courses in the student web platform Studentportalen.

    Please note that web-registration for the spring semester of 2020 on Studentportalen begins on 7 January and the deadline for registration is on 13 January 2020.

  3. Participate in the introductory meeting with the programme director at the beginning of the semester. You will receive a welcome letter with more detailed information about that. If you cannot come to the introductory meeting, please contact the programme director for an agreement of late arrival. Otherwise we will register a drop-out from the programme.


If you have been conditionally admitted as a final-year student you will not be able to register online on Studentportalen. You are required to present complete documentation of your bachelor’s studies, i.e. original complete academic transcript and official degree certificate(s)/diplomas(s) and translations by the start of the programme in Sweden. Please upload or send your documents to University Admissions as soon as you get them, so that they are registered in the national admissions system when you arrive in Sweden. Also notify that there are new uploaded documents to be checked. Our admissions officer will inform you as soon as the registration will be possible for you on Studentportalen.
