We use cookies on his.se, both session cookies and persistent cookies. Some cookies are necessary for his.se to work properly, these have already been saved temporarily to your computer and will be removed when you close your browser.

      Accessibility

A persistent cookie is used to save the personal settings a visitor chooses on the Accessibility page regarding font, text colour, spacing, etc. If you do not accept cookies, you cannot select any customised settings.

      About cookies

Cookies are small text files, created by the website visited, that contain data. They are stored on the visitor's computer with the aim of giving the visitor access to various functions.

There are two types of cookies:

      • A session cookie is temporarily stored in the computers memory while the visitor is browsing the website. The session cookie is erased when the web browser is closed.
      • A persistent cookie remains on the visitors computer until it is deleted.

      Third party cookies

In order to make your experience of his.se as useful as possible we collect information with the statistic tool Google Analytics. This information is useful for us when we develop different functions as well as structure and content. Google Analytics gathers information through cookies.

If you do not want to accept cookies

If you do not want to accept cookies, you can adjust the settings in your web browser's security preferences so that you either do not accept any cookies at all or so that your consent is requested every time a website tries to put a cookie on your computer. You can also delete cookies that have previously been stored in your web browser; see the web browser's help files for more information.

The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency, which is the relevant supervisory agency, has additional information about cookies on its website.
