Students will be taught about information retrieval and scientific writing in biomedicine. The course covers how to search for, evaluate, analyze and critically review scientific publications as well as information from other sources with regard to both content and ethics. The course also deals with the structure and design of a medical research article. In addition, reference management and avoidance of plagiarism are covered in depth.
