      Admission Requirements

      Admission to the course requires passed courses worth 30 credits in the main field of cognitive neuroscience (or equivalent).

      How does biological evolution work and how can evolutionary thinking be applied to the study human mind and behavior?

      The course includes both theoretical discussions and the presentation of empirical evidence concerning various topics within evolutionary biology and evolutionary psychology. These topics include, for instance, evolutionary mechanisms, natural selection, the trajectory of human evolution, evolutionary psychology as a research paradigm, and the use of evolutionary psychological thinking in fields such as social psychology, cognitive psychology, and clinical psychology.
