About the programme
The PICS masters’ is developed in cooperation between researchers and practitioners in the cyber security domain, and the programme is tightly tied to our collaboration platform (also called PICS) that brings together researchers and practitioners within security. We hope the programme will provide you with a challenging experience that allows you to learn and understand the PICS area and, of course, have an enjoyable time doing that.
The studies are designed to be dialogue based. This means we will mix lectures, supervision, seminars, and group assignments and expect you to participate. Our pedagogical approach is that we use dialogue to learn. Several scheduled sessions will be mandatory, and some are not. We expect you to participate actively in all our sessions to get the most out of the programme.
We would like to note that the programme is a full-time study programme, meaning that students are expected to spend about 40 hours of work per week. Many of the sessions will be live that are not recorded. Distance students will connect to the sessions using Zoom and mix with the campus students.
You will get more information about the time and (digital) place for the first sessions closer to the start of the semester. If you have any questions regarding the programme, you are welcome to e-mail us.
