      Trial period of Scopus AI

      Published 8 October 2024

For four weeks, 9 October - 8 November 2024, you have the opportunity to test the AI feature in the Scopus database. If you would like an overview of Scopus AI, you are welcome to attend a short presentation via Zoom on Monday the 14th of October at 14.00.

Scopus, a database containing bibliographic records and citation data, has recently launched an AI functionality in its service. Scopus AI is an add-on that is not included in the regular offering of the database, but you now have access to it on a trial basis for one month as of October 9th.

What is Scopus AI and how does it work?

Scopus AI is based on natural language use, which means that keywords and Boolean operators are unnecessary. You can also ask your question in Swedish (or any other language), though the answer will be delivered in English.

The result, or the answer to your question, is based on the abstracts of the Scopus database and is provided as a brief summary with references used to create it. You can also further explore the topic via an extended summary, or the concept map generated from your question.

      Presentation of Scopus AI

If you would like an overview of Scopus AI, you are welcome to attend a short presentation on Monday the 14th of October, at 14.00. The presentation will be given by a representative from Scopus, who will demonstrate how the tool can be used for information retrieval and what features are included.

      Provide feedback

Take the opportunity to test Scopus AI and share your thoughts. You are welcome to provide feedback on Scopus AI, as it will assist in evaluating the service. Use the survey link below or contact the library via email.
