Students at the University of Skövde
As a student of the University of Skövde you apply for a library account by logging on to your account at the Student Portal and filling out the application for a library account. If you don’t have a Swedish personnummer, then please visit the University Library to activate your library account. It is possible to add your access card to make it serve as a library card.
If you have a Swedish personnnummer, once you have obtained your library account you can borrow by using your personnummer and pin code at the self-checkouts.

Employees at the University of Skövde
As an employee at the University of Skövde you apply for a library account by logging in to Studieadministrativa e-tjänster and then click Övrigt - Ansök om lånekonto hos biblioteket.

General public and students at other universities
General public users and students at other universities are welcome to borrow books from the library’s collections. The minimum age limit to apply for a library card is 16 years. You can prepare the registration by filling out the library account application.
