Within the framework of INGENIUM, a shared infrastructure is being developed. We are working on guidelines and processes to facilitate collaboration between institutions in education, research and support services. This may, for example, involve study administration or the IT environment itself.
Develop courses together with colleagues in Europe
If you are a teacher, INGENIUM will, among other things, offer a “Staff Academy”, an annual pedagogical conference. The European University will also establish centres of expertise and resources to provide support in areas such as educational development, sustainable development and entrepreneurship, with the aim of eventually offering high-quality joint courses within these areas to the 172,000 students in the alliance.
Expand your research network
If you are a researcher, INGENIUM means expanded opportunities to create research networks and projects, and to share research infrastructure and supervision of joint doctoral students. Within the alliance, we have more than 100 faculties.
In late autumn 2023, the first INGENIUM calls will be launched, where one can apply for start-up grants for this type of research project. Doctoral students and early-career researchers may apply to participate in a senior summer/winter school offering interdisciplinary lectures and workshops related to various themes.
International exchange for those in support services
Learning from one another to improve and become stronger together is part of the goals of the European University. This means that we need to meet within the alliance. What this means for you who work in support services largely depends on your duties, but generally, it implies increased opportunities for international exchange and collaboration in various forms related to support for education and/or research.
