Why should I participate?
Imagine an exchange trip filled with learning, collaboration, and cultural encounters. You will work alongside like-minded students from across Europe, tackle challenges, and gain insights from leading experts. INGENIUM not only offers academic credits – it provides a life-changing experience.
Whether you are interested in entrepreneurship, sustainability, or developing your intercultural skills, there is a place for you here.
Free of charge
Travel and accommodation are also covered by INGENIUM, making the programme accessible to all students, regardless of background. If you want to build international connections, experience a short-term exchange, and gain skills that will make you stand out, then INGENIUM is for you. It’s great for your CV – but most importantly, it’s an incredible experience for you as a student!
The content
Each "school" lasts one week, during which the schedule is filled with both academic studies and social activities, including excursions. The studies primarily consist of group work, workshops, and various activities that promote teamwork and networking.
Regardless of your current field of study, you will collaborate with other European students. The goal is to equip you with skills in problem-solving and critical thinking – invaluable assets in today’s global job market. The programme not only emphasises academic and entrepreneurial skills but also social inclusion and diversity, helping you develop a deeper understanding of intercultural relations.
Junior and senior
- The INGENIUM Summer School is usually held in May–June.
- The INGENIUM Winter School is usually held in February.
Both are offered in two versions: junior and senior. They are part of what is known as the "10 Days of INGENIUM" – events where staff and students within the alliance have the opportunity to meet for meetings, training, and networking, but also to get to know each other better.
As a bachelor's student, you apply for the junior programme; if you are a master's student, postgraduate student, or early-career researcher, you apply for the senior programme.
Regardless of which programme is relevant to you, participation is free of charge, including travel and accommodation. The INGENIUM Winter or Summer School provides you with experiences, connections, and knowledge that will support your journey after graduation.
