      Apply now for INGENIUM Senior Summer School on Crete in May

      In May, INGENIUM European University offers you the opportunity to travel to Greece and meet students and researchers from across Europe. During a week you will explore one of the greatest challenges of our time – climate change. And best of all: travel and accommodation are fully funded by INGENIUM.

      From 19-23 May, the Senior Summer School will take place in Heraklion, Crete. This year’s theme is "From Earth Surface to Space", with a focus on climate change and its impact on the environment and biodiversity. If you are a master’s or PhD student – apply for the INGENIUM Senior Summer School. Application is now open, so hurry up since the spots are limited.

      • Where: University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece
      • When: 19–23 May, 2025
      • Cost: Travel and accommodation are funded through an Erasmus scholarship, which is paid retroactively. If you are a fee-paying student at the University of Skövde, an additional tuition fee applies.
      • Who: Master’s and doctoral students (all disciplines)
      • Application deadline: 30 March 

      What will you Learn?

      Throughout an intensive and inspiring week, you will participate in lectures, workshops, and group work, learning about:

      • Environmental monitoring using satellite technology.
      • Climate change and its effects on the environment.
      • Strategies to protect biodiversity and ecosystems.

      What can you Expect?

      A stimulating week filled with scientific discussions, networking, and international collaboration – all set in an inspiring Mediterranean environment.

      Beyond the course activities, you will engage in thought-provoking discussions with european colleagues, gain new perspectives on climate and environmental issues, and have the chance to form valuable connections for the future. Prepare for a unique experience that blends advanced studies, personal development, and cultural discoveries!

      In addition to the on-site course week, one or two digital learning sessions will take place before and/or after the course, required to earn academic credits.
