The pace of study is 50% unless otherwise stated. Such courses occupy 50% of a student's total workload in a two-month study period. Thus, a student would normally take two such courses in the same study period. There are two study periods in each semester. Full-time studies in Sweden equal 15 credits per study period and 30 credits per semester. Exchange students, however, are permitted to take more than 30 credits per semester, to include courses in English and in Swedish language or culture.
