Mikael Harlén
School of Engineering Science
Mathematics and physics are ubiquitous in engineering, computer science, biology, medicin and economy, through the use of matematical modelling.
The aims and objectives of our research group is to develop research activities within the fields of mathematics and physics at the University. The focus is on national and international collaborations, and to encourage the use of mathematical modelling in collaboration with other research groups at the University.
We have expertise in algebra, geometry, combinatorics, dynamical systems and strongly correlated real materials, as well as in mathematical modelling, in particular within the fields of materials physics and computer science.
